Welcome

Little Blossoms is an early learning program for young children offering a relationship based curriculum full of gentle routines, music and play.
In a lovely in-home play space, a small cohort of children spend their mornings baking, gardening, singing, dancing... and being together!

Cohorts are enrolled for September when the children are about 18-30 months old with the hope that the group can stay together for the September-June "school" year. Of course, changes sometimes happen and occasionally enrollment spots open up mid-year.

Little Blossoms is an inclusive early learning space, where all children and families are valued, diversity is celebrated, and different abilities are respected and expected.

The Little Blossoms Teacher

Helene Hanson

Hi, I am Helene!
I have had the pleasure of twenty wonderful years working with young children, as an early childhood teacher, a foster parent, and a social worker. Providing a relationship-based social learning environment to our littlest community members brings me deep joy. It is truly an honor to be with humans in the early years of their lives, nurturing their unique and wonderful strengths and offering respectful guidance and support as they learn about the world around them.

Home: What Our Families Say...

We were so lucky to be connected with Helene for our daughter to participate in Little Blossoms. From Helene’s loving, nurturing demeanor and sense of humor, to her creativity, and seemingly endless patience, we always knew our daughter was in capable hands. She got to experience the community of other kiddos in a small group format that was such a good fit for her. Helene creates an environment where all the kids can thrive regardless of the kind of day they’re having or what makes them tick. They went on adventures, had lots of structured and unstructured play, made music, enjoyed meals together, shared countless experiences, and learned about and developed friendships foundational to their understanding of being part of a community for the rest of their lives. Helene also shared with parents what they got up to so we could follow along and feel connected, which was much appreciated. I cannot recommend Little Blossoms highly enough!
